✔️ Minimum Age: 18 years
✔️ Valid Document: Iqama / Visit Visa / Umrah Visa
✔️ Personal Photo
✔️ Saudi Mobile Number (to receive OTP)

When Does Itikaf Start?

🕌 Begins: 20th Ramadan
🕌 Ends: After Isha prayer on Eid moon sighting

How to Register for Itikaf?

🔗 Click Here To Start your registration. Due to high traffic, the link may take time to open. Keep trying!

Step-by-Step Registration Process:

1️⃣ Click “Start Service” to access the e-service.
2️⃣ Log in using Nafath system or your username & password.
3️⃣ If you don’t have an account, select "New Visitor" and sign up.
4️⃣ Choose your Itikaf location (Masjid al-Nabawi or Masjid al-Haram).
5️⃣ Fill in all required details carefully.
6️⃣ Accept the terms & conditions.
7️⃣ Watch the awareness video.
8️⃣ Click “Submit Application” to complete your registration.

Checking Itikaf Registration Status

📩 Once you submit your application, you’ll receive a text message if selected.

📌 If accepted:
✔️ Log in to confirm your attendance.
✔️ Upload your personal photo to receive the permit.

🚫 If you don’t wish to continue, cancel your registration so someone else can take your spot.

📢 You will receive an SMS with attendance details, pick-up location, and how to collect your card/bracelet.

Guidelines for Itikaf in Makkah & Madinah

What to Pack?

🛍️ 5 sets of clothes (Ladies: Carry extra hijab & abaya)
📱 Mobile charger (Avoid phone usage)
🕌 Prayer mat
🛏️ Sleeping bag, blanket, inflatable pillow
🧴 Personal hygiene items (toothbrush, deodorant, wipes, tissue, comb, etc.)

Where to Eat?

🍽️ Iftar: Provided by mosque management (dates, juice, water, croissants, etc.).
🍛 Suhoor/Dinner: Available at Hilton Towers (Fast food options).

How to Manage Crowds?

🚫 On Fridays: Do not leave the mosque before Jumu'ah prayer.
📖 On the 29th night (Khatm-ul-Quran): If you exit, re-entry may not be allowed.
